Written By David Walker on Friday, 1 June 2012 | 11:57

T-ara has unveiled their new member, Dani!
Dani turns 14 this year and was raised in the States since she was four years old. Despite her young age, she stands at a height of 167 cm with stunning looks that people have compared to the likes of Olivia Hussey.
Although she looks cute upon first glance, there is said to be an inner charisma to her style that makes her all the more charming.
As previously revealed, T-ara will begin promotions with their eighth member starting July 7th. Dani will join the group in December as the ninth member. She will, however, be starring in the group’s upcoming music video as an actress in the meantime.
The reason for the delay in Dani’s joining is because she wants to practice more and join when she feels she is completely ready so as to not bring any harm to the group’s way.
The eighth member will be revealed on a later date, so stay tuned!

Angelababy infects her eyes from over crying

Actress Angelababy (Yeung Wing) in the film FIRST TIME in order to play a dance scene well took lessons with a dance instructor. For the shoot she without any rest practiced for eight hours straight. Lead actor Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting) praised her determination. Baby said, “I never thought that dance scene would be more difficult than action scenes, to me it indeed was a huge challenge. I had to keep spinning on the stage, when I got dizzy from the constant turns I just fell on the floor. My legs were all red and swollen. I have to thank Chiu Yau Ting though. Even though he didn’t have any dance scene he kept cheering me on from the side.” Aside from the tough dance scene, Baby was so involved in her crying scene that her eyes were swollen and infected. They kept tearing up. The director immediately stopped the shoot and sent Baby for a hospital examination. Finally the doctor said that her corneas were injured. She had to properly rest and stop shooting. Baby could only obey and made room in her schedule for additional shoots.
Baby revealed that on Sunday she and Chiu Yau TIng will promote for FIRST TIME in Hong Kong with three events. Baby said, “In one of the events, Chiu Yau Ting and I would be in close contact with the audience in Mongkok. We hope to personally show viewers appreciation for their support. (Will your music video star, brother Keven, appear?) No. After the music video was released many praised him for having a star look, but this time he was just guest starring and messing around. Currently school comes first for him, I don’t want to disturb his life.”

Moses Chan & Aimee Chan’s relationship rumored lie of the century

It was rumored that Moses Chan and Aimee Chan’s relationship is the biggest lie of the century and the relationship is just used to hide their actual sexual orientation. It was said the two each have separate partners of the same sex. Yesterday Moses was on Eileen Cha’s radio interview and was asked about the rumor. Moses just laughed the rumor off, “You all think too much! Touch wood! My mom saw the rumor and thought it was funny too.” Moses heard his rumored partner looks like “Sing Sing” (Aaron Kwok), he laughed loudly and said thank you. As for Aimee Chan, who was working at another recording studio, also thought the rumor was funny.
Moses said: “The rumor hasn’t affected my girlfriend and I. Since we started dating, we thank the media for all their blessings, including helping us set our wedding date. I have my own plans and will work hard towards reaching them. I just hope we can have more time to get to know each other more and just wait for the right moment.”
When speaking of new series Master of Play, Moses reveals he started having feelings for his girlfriend while they were filming the series, and then started pursuing her. However, it wasn’t until they finished filming the series that they started dating. It hasn’t even been a year since they dated. When asked if he would mind his girlfriend doing intimate scenes? He generously expressed it’s fine, but it would be respectful to let him know beforehand. Finally, Moses did not forget to compliment how “hot” his girlfriend is and she has high flexibility in her acting.

Steven Ma gets hit on the left eye while shooting a fighting scene

Steven Ma was shooting for a Hengdian TV series Mandarin Duck Pendant (鴛鴦佩) and got an eye injury. In one scene, Steven was fighting several martial artists and someone accidentally injured Steven’s left eye while charging up to him. At the time, he felt some pain as tears came streaming down, and his contacts started shifting too. However, the staff weren’t aware that there was an accident. To avoid slowing down the shooting progress, Steven just used eye drops to take out his contacts and then got right back to shooting. In fact, Steven’s eyes are considered quite calamitous. Just a few years ago, he was kicked by a horse and injured his right eye.
Steven said nobody wants accidents to happen. That night, he immediately put ice on his eye to prevent his eye from swelling and thus affecting the shoot on the following day. However, the next day when he got back to work, his eyes were still swollen anyway. The director saw the professionalism in Steven and understood his situation, so he allowed Steven to get a day off for bed rest. The makeup artist and lightning staff were also considerate, being very careful while putting makeup on him and reducing the lightning to maintain Steven’s good looks.

Zhang Ziyi denies sex scandal allegations

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi was recently embroiled in a sex scandal involving China’s former Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai.
According to Taiwanese media reports, the actress is on close terms with the disgraced politician Bo Xilai and had received more than RMB10 milllion (S$2 million) during “meetings” with him over the past years.
Ziyi was believed to have first met politician Bo in 2007, through an arrangement by founder and chairman of the Dailian Shide Group, Xu Ming. The actress was also said to have accepted TW$276, 000 (S$118,000) from Bo during their first meeting.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xwjaEIee63U/T8b5mD6U4AI/AAAAAAAARls/LnrQgHij9Zs/s1600/Zhang+Ziyi.jpg
The actress reportedly had more than 10 encounters with Bo Xilai in the past years. The meetings, according to Chinese media reports, took place mostly near the Beijing International Airport or a private estate in Bejing Xishan.
It was also said that Xu Ming would “pay” Ziyi a sum of money on behalf of Bo Xilai after each “transaction”.
According to reports, Ziyi is currently undergoing investigations for the matter and is barred from leaving China, where she is currently shooting “The Grandmasters”.
Coincidentally, the actress was also conspicuously missing at the Cannes Film Festival, despite being invited as a guest presenter.
In response to the issue, Ziyi’s management team made an official statement through her microblog yesterday, stating that the actress’s no-show at the Cannes Film Festival was due to a tight filming schedule.
With regards to the sex scandal allegations, Ziyi’s team has expressed plans to seek a redress through legal means.
“This time, we do not plan to keep silent. If we allow the false allegations to continue, what’s false will become half-truths, and what’s white will become an in-between,” Ziyi’s management wrote.

Gong Li clears the air: Not dating, not pregnant, not living in France

Written By David Walker on Tuesday, 29 May 2012 | 21:36

Gong Li on Saturday clarified that she is not dating anyone at the moment, and denied rumours that she is pregnant, reported Chinese media.

Rumours have been rife that she is dating a Frenchman 13 years her junior and that she is pregnant, but Gong explained that these rumours held no truth at all.

“I am not dating at the moment. As to whether I will remarry, this depends on fate. I’ll think about it later.
“I am not [pregnant]. Look at how much work I have lined up and you know it (rumours that she is pregnant) is not true!” said Gong, when she spoke to the Chinese media at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
Her Singaporean ex-husband Ooi Hoe Seong’s recent admission that they had separated three years ago had sparked a fresh wave of rumours about Gong, but the Chinese actress expressed that the numerous rumours about her have not affected her at all.

“These are just rumours. People are simply concerned about me, that’s all,” said Gong, who also pointed out that she spends most of her time in Beijing and isn’t living in France, as some rumours claimed.
Besides debunking the many rumours about her, the “Curse of the Golden Flower” star also spoke about her upcoming movie, the Hollywood feature film “Marco Polo”, which will be helmed by “Immortals” director Tarsem Singh.

“I play a queen in the film. I looked at the script and it’s really good. The cast is huge and the film has a strong historical significance,” said Gong of “Marco Polo”.
“Marco Polo” is scheduled to go into production at the end of the year.

Peter Ho mistaken Kate Tsui for billionaire’s wife Cathy Tsui

Written By David Walker on Monday, 28 May 2012 | 17:52

TVB artist Kate Tsui went to Shanghai for an event hosted by a wine company. At the event, it was the first time Kate encountered Taiwanese artist Peter Ho, who thought she was billionaire’s daughter-in-law Cathy Tsui and described her to others as the wife of a very rich person. Later, reporters informed Peter that he got the wrong person, but he still greeted Kate as a “Friend from Hong Kong”. Towards this ‘Beautiful Misunderstanding’, Kate generously expressed: “No problem, I just thought it was really funny!”
With an excellent body figure, Kate appeared in a low-cut dress. She expressed she’s been actively trying to keep fit for a new commercial she’s shooting. However because of the diet she’s on, she felt a little dizzy while shooting the commercial.
Earlier it was rumored that love sparked between Kate and optometrist Dr. Tse Wai Ip. Kate clarified he’s just a friend: “He’s not in the industry, so I don’t want to say too much that could affect his family, thank you all for the concern!” Kate expressed her career is the priority now, she’s been working nonstop, shooting TVB series Highs and Lows, commercials and films, “The night before I came to Shanghai, I was shooting for a new film until 3 am, and then that following morning at 8am, I had to get on the flight!”
As for Peter Ho, he was the guest performer at the event. Regarding to mistaken Kate for Cathy Tsui, he expressed his apologies: “I was confused, I’m really sorry!” When asked if he didn’t dare to add any more attention for Kate? He tried to patch things up by praising her: “She’s a Miss Hong Kong! A beautiful girl!”

Raymond Lam – How to Understand Her Completely (Part 1)

Talking about women with Raymond Lam, a gentleman so popular among females, I just fear he has a bias on reporters, thinking that we’re only interested in his rumors. Results, I wasn’t disappointed. Although not considered eloquent, at least hit the target with one arrow. I directly asked him: “Do you think you understanding women?” He thought for a moment, then answered: “I don’t understand. Bottom line is men and women are from two different worlds. The purpose is defeated by the difference in values of the two sexes. What she thinks, the best I could do is take a guess.”
20 years ago U.S author and relationship counselor John Gray introduced the theory “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” (a book published in 1992). Taking young readers into account, we give an overview of this book. Raymond Lam has never read this book, but what’s interesting is his views are similar to the conclusions and rationales made in the book.
4 Lessons by LF
#1 Raymond: “When a guy or a girl meets someone they like, they would be caught off balance, heartbeat increases rapidly and unable to communicate or function normally.”
Raymond has excellent people relations with those in the industry, which is probably because he’s friendly and well-mannered. In reality, due to his proficient Mandarin, Raymond debuted as a TVB8 on-location reporter. All along, whenever he speaks, he would melt fans’ hearts and make them scream enthusiastically. Although Raymond is used to seeing big events, he admits when he encounters someone he likes, he starts stuttering: “I think that’s a normal reaction for any man or woman when they encounter such situation! In fact, back when I was still in school, whenever I meet a girl that I had feelings for, I would immediately turn really shy. Perhaps it is because I was in an all-boy school.” Raymond added and said he has never been a shy boy, as he does not hesitate to participate in the school’s singing contests and have no problem performing before a large audience. John Gray said: “All men and women have an equal need for love”.
#2 Raymond: “When a man and a woman come together, no matter how their personality or views differ, there will definitely be something in common hat can attract him or her.”
When love is in the air, an invisible red string will tie two people together. Some people discover a “concave and convex” mechanism can unite two people together, but the problem is that ‘concave’ and that ‘convex’ person’s shape can’t be too far apart. That’s why Raymond said: “Correct, men and women bring two types of different structures, but there will definitely be one common area that could create that magnetic field.” That’s right, different structure, but the same material, Raymond continues: “It is even more rare to meet a person, in which you and her could balance each other out.”
John Gray says: “Men feel loved if their efforts at giving are appreciated; women feel loved according to what they receive.” Women, please be more frank and just tell what is it you want, then men will know what to give you. However, the biggest problem is women usually don’t know what they want, and the men often believe they have contributed a lot. Raymond: “I am a contradicting person. I like to take care of people, but at the same time I long for someone to take care of me.” In this aspect, Raymond can relax because women are naturally born to look after others, John Gray points out: “A woman’s instinct is to look after others, even if it means sacrificing herself.”

#3: Raymond: “I once had a relationship where we broke up due to understanding issues.”

[When] couples break up, in many situations it is due to the long-term consistency of quarrels. A couple learns more from each other through quarrels and eventually end in a breakup due to having more understanding. Raymond says from his personal experience, stressing he doesn’t understand women: “I can’t even fully understand myself yet, how can I understand others?”
John Gray says: “When the needs of love are not fulfilled it is easy to have our feelings hurt, for which we blame our partner.” When a pair of lovers quarrel, the man has a different view on the word ‘love’ than the woman and both parties have their own methods to express it.
John Gray: “In a relationship, a woman needs to feel that her needs are attended.” After comprehending this point, it is the same as Raymond’s song Change the Way to Love You. Use some practical forms to express the love, such as giving flowers or small gifts to tell the girl how much you care for her, don’t just say you want to break up.

#4 Raymond: “It is not necessary to change yourself for your lover.”

I think, based on Raymond’s experiences in love, he can share a lot more tips to how two people of the opposite sex can get along. He said: “Going back to the basis of love, two people are in love because they attract one another. It is because of the initial most attractive part of you, that you are with that person, so we shouldn’t change ourselves just because of small quarrels. On the contrary, a man and a woman need to communicate, and understand either other through communication. If there is limited understanding, then use forgiveness to resolve the problems.”
John Gray’s advice is a little more accurate: “Each should make small changes to their behaviors and communication towards the other, but without compromising their own true natures.” John Gray agrees women should not try to change men, “Women must have faith in men’s abilities and best efforts to fulfill their needs, avoiding trying to change or control them. When men and women are able to respect and accept their differences then love has a chance to blossom.”
According to Raymond’s theory, right timing will naturally bring two similar or two opposite people together, but Raymond belongs to the men in the entertainment circle. Seems like it be hard for him to encounter a woman from the outside world. As an artist, your every move can attract either positive or negative criticisms. Raymond said: “Do artists have to just live on the set? Absolutely not, I will not give up on a normal social life just because of negative reports. What is so strange about making friends of the opposite sex? I am very much afraid of staying in the same place for a long period, just know about my own career and clueless about the outside world.” Raymond discloses the qualities he hopes the girl he likes has: “I like a clever girl, but I hope she’ll be willing to be the woman behind me, helping me handle everything in life because I’m already busy enough with my acting career.”

Bosco Wong miserably got ‘played to death’ by the airline. The other day, he revealed on Weibo that the airline gave away his business class seat to another person without notifying him. Veteran Lily Leung tells story of losing loved ones – husband and son

Lily Leung had an extremely grief Mother’s Day on May 13th. Although her son, daughter-in-law and grandson were all by her side, but this year is her first Mother’s Day without her husband (Yuen Lai Ming).
Lily’s husband left her on May 2nd, that painful feeling of losing a loved one, in all honestly, Lily Jeh cannot describe that feeling in words. When the couple celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary (60th), a friend said with giggles that she’ll be waiting to celebrate their platinum wedding anniversary (70th). At this moment, Lily Jeh quitely said: “We can’t even celebrate our 65th anniversary. We only celebrated up to our 63rd anniversary.”

Facing indescribable pain, Lily Jeh quickly moved from her residence in Hong Kong Island to Kowloon. She moved to a home 5 minutes walking distance from her son, convenient of having someone to look after her. She glances out from the living room and sees the blue sky and a lush of green trees, and couldn’t help but say: “If only he was here, he would definitely like this scenery.”

In the recent year, Yuen’s health had been declining, he could barely walk, but refused to sit in a wheel chair. Soon after he was sent to the hospital, everyone in the family took turns to visit him. However on the evening of March 1st, the family were all heading home from work, but some already got a call from the hospital even before making it home, Lily: “At the time, I was by his side, I grabbed his hand. He kept saying he was very tired and wanted to sleep. I told him, don’t sleep, the grand children are coming to see you. Unfortunately, he just smiled and left…”

Married First Lover

Lily Jeh married Yuen at age 17 and have been together for over 60 years. They exceed conjugal love; they are a role model for married couples. The couple were married on October 2, 1949, at the time Lily was underaged to register for marriage, so she was only able to sign the marriage papers in the Chinese style. Initially her parents disapproved of her getting married at such an early age, but Lily Jeh promised she would earn enough money to give to her parents on a monthly basis. It was only then her parents agreed to let her marry. She met Yuen at age 14 while working on a stage play. He was her first lover.

Youngest Son Lost His Life Due to Weight Loss

Lily Jeh lost two loved ones in her lifetime. The first time was in 1998, her youngest son Yuen Wai Hung passed away. In her own life experiences, Lily Jeh understands that worry could really be harmful. “Worry, is more miserable than any other disease. At the time, I couldn’t breathe and thought I was having a heart attack. It turns out, how your mood affects you is very important. People must know how to tolerate, able to pick it up and let it go.”

Lily’s son death was due to his desire for good looks and taking weight loss drugs. He didn’t exercise, and would just eat an apple a day. When he visited his sister in the Philippines during the holidays, because of long-term malnutrition, his body suddenly failed on him. He fainted in the Philippines and was sent to the hospital. Doctors initially thought he had pneumonia. While he was hospitalized, his father accompanied him, but eventually because of organ failure, he lost his life.

On December 28, 1998, Lily Jeh remembers that night clearly. The nurse slept on one side of the bed, her son was in the middle and she accompanied him on the other side. In the morning, the nurse suddenly calls her and that was when her son passed away, Lily Jeh said: “He looked as if he was sleeping, very peaceful and beautiful.”

Lily’s family later took the weight loss drugs that he was taking for lab work. It was discovered that 4 of the pills were illegal drugs. The doctor took those drugs and gave it to her son. Lily experiences the grief of losing her dearest son, she said: “It is really shameless.”

No Retirement Plans

Lily Jeh is currently 80 years old, but she has no plans to retire. TVB’s executives Catherine Tsang and Virgina Lok are frequently accepting jobs for her to prevent her from being too lonely and thinking too much. Aside from shooting series, Lily is always devoting herself to volunteer work at the retirement home and children that are mentally challenged.

The senior population in Hong Kong is growing, but some people can get so heartless to use a fake address, so when their elderly family member discharges from the hospital, they won’t be able to find them. Lily Jeh just cannot understand the mentality that some of these people have. From the education she got in childhood, whenever others help you, you must be grateful.

TVB concedes to allowing Jessica Hsuan and Joe Ma participate in promotion for upcoming series “Tiger Cubs”

In anticipation of the impending television ‘war’, the first challenge that TVB must face is how to handle the promotional events for upcoming series where the main leads have already left the company. The series Tiger Cubs《飛虎》will be premiering on June 24th, however its main leads Joe Ma (馬德鐘) and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) already left TVB after their contracts expired earlier in the year – in addition, much of the main supporting cast such as Dominic Lam (林嘉華), Savio Tsang (曾偉權), Wilson Tsui (艾威), Jason Lau (白彪), etc. have not only left TVB, they’ve also already joined a rival TV station (Ricky Wong’s CTI) and have already started filming series for them. It is rumored that due to the circumstances, arranging the promotional events for the series has become a huge headache for TVB – if they stand firm and not allow artists who have left to participate in promotion for the series, it would only be detrimental to themselves. Therefore, in the end, TVB decided to ‘give in’ and invite artists who have left to participate in the promotion, which includes the series’ leads Jessica Hsuan and Joe Ma.

Earlier, when TVB finally aired warehoused series The Greatness of a Hero《盛世仁傑》, one of the series’ female leads, Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), was not invited to the promotion for the series because she had already left TVB. However the impact was not as significant because the other leads in the series – TVB Best Actor Wayne Lai (黎耀祥), HKFA Best Actor Kent Cheng (鄭則士), as well as new mother Sonjia Kwok (郭羡妮) – were all present for the promotional events and so the ‘lack of artists’ was not as obvious. With the upcoming Tiger Cubs however, the situation is completely different, as both leads as well as majority of the experienced veteran artists have already left and some have even signed with another TV station. Joe Ma has signed to the same management company as Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) [Creative Arts Production Company (創藝製作發行有限公司), which is based in Mainland]; Jessica Hsuan has become the number one ‘poaching’ target on Ricky Wong’s list and earlier she appeared on both i-Cable as well as ATV’s interview programs; Dominic Lam, Savio Tsang, and Wilson Tsui have all confirmed joining Ricky Wong’s CTI and even attended various events arranged by the company. Given this ‘predicament’, if TVB continued to insist that non-TVB artists cannot be invited to promotional events, then the scene would definitely not look good for the series.

Asked whether arranging promotion for the series is a huge headache right now, Tiger Cubs producer Lam Chi Wah (林志華) expressed: “Ok la, handling it normally. Both Joe Ma and Jessica Hsuan were contacted and if their schedules permit, they have agreed to attend, so for now it’s not too big of a problem.” It’s obvious that in order to push the series, TVB has already made some concessions. However, artists such as Dominic Lam, Savio Tsang, etc. are not on the list of invitees – towards this, the producer responded: “I believe that is being handled normally as well.”

Joe Ma insists that attending the promotional event for Tiger Cubs does not conflict with his current work: “Currently, I have not signed with any TV stations in HK. Contrary to rumors, I have NOT signed with Ricky Wong – rather, I signed to the same management company as Charmaine [Sheh]. In addition, I did not attend their [Ricky Wong / CTI] press conference or any other events of theirs. As far as the series (Tiger Cubs), it is of great importance to me for several reasons: first, filming the series was hard work and very exhausting; second, since I used to be a cop and the series is about the police force, it has special significance for me – plus I’m responsible for singing the series’ theme song. Therefore, if TVB asks me to attend the promotion, I am definitely willing to do it.” (You’re still responsible for the theme song?) “I don’t think they’re going to pull that back?”

Asked when he will be filming series again, Joe replied: “I will be heading to Shanghai next month to film a Mainland series – once the series wraps filming in September, then I’ll decide on subsequent work.” (Any contact with TVB?) “Yes! At this moment I continue to have a good relationship with them.”

As for the series’ female lead Jessica Hsuan, she also expressed that she is currently a free artist and has not signed with any other TV station. Asked about Ricky Wong trying to recruit her, Jessica expressed: “We did have discussion, but in addition to salary, there are other things I need to consider, such as good production and good role – if it’s going to be the same ‘professional’ type role (i.e. lawyer, judge, etc.), not only would the audiences be bored, I would be bored too! Even now with filming in the Mainland, I’ve been very selective in terms of script and characters I’d be portraying. For example, after leaving TVB, the first Mainland series I filmed was Xue Ping Gui and Wang Bao Chuan《薛平貴與王寶釧》 – I play a tragic, miserable character, a role that I’ve never done before, so it’s a good challenge for me. Also, I just received word from the production team that the finale episode ratings already surpassed that of popular Mainland series Startling with Each Step《步步驚心》as well as Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan《甄嬛傳》 ! The production team was excellent and I definitely feel lucky that I got to film this series.” (Will you attend the promotion for Tiger Cubs?) “The producer already called me and I already told him that if my schedule permits, I will attend. I will fulfill my responsibility to promote the series I participated in.”

King Kong’s nude scene in ‘Turning Point 2′ exposed, ridiculed for having a small ‘birdie’

Recently photos of Michael Tse and King Kong completely nude in the film Turning Point 2 circulated on a gay website. In the photos, it was suspected Michael revealed his buttock, while King Kong appeared completely exposed with his genitals. Both became a new love interest in the gay community. However, King Kong is pretty troubled as he was said to have a ‘very very very very small birdie’. The nude photos started spreading among the gays last month. The completely nude scene was deleted, so it is unknown how the photo leaked online.
Yesterday reporters contacted King Kong, he recalled the situation on that day of the shoot: “Because it was an all male group, we were all completely nude in the showers. It was about a 2-3 minute process, not embarrassed at all!” As for being ridiculed by the gays for having a ‘small birdie’, King Kong said: “Although I’m not gay, I still have to say thank you! As for the ‘small birdie’, aiya! That’s how I’m born, it is my privacy. My brothers have seen me and knows whats going on. I don’t need to explain to people I don’t know. I have full confidence on myself. Actually, if anything, anybody who thinks I have a small one, then come out and have homosexual sex! I don’t really understand why the photos leaked, I really have to get paid for that! (Have you became a target for male artist nude photographer, Lau Ding Sing?) Nope, I don’t know him. I just know he’s a news figure.”

Michael is currently in Foshan filming, he said: “I was nude when I shot that scene. The director said, the bottom half of my body and private parts won’t be shown in the film, so I do not believe the photos are real at all. It is probably manipulated by Netizens. I just think of it as a joke. (Did you have any protection during the shoot?) On the set, it was just all men, no need.”

When asked if he’s worried this may affect his image? Michael said confidently: “Not worried, many of my seniors who have revealed their buttock or went nude are all famous now. (Your on a gay website, not afraid?) Perhaps this breaks a new ground, a new market, but I haven’t thought of expanding the market to bareness.” As for King Kong’s genitals ridiculed by Netizens, Michael expressed it’s purely just based on perspective: “I see him and think he’s normal. I’m not sure if that person who said King Kong has a small one, is he originally a black person?”

Turning Point 2 director Herman Yau accepted a photo interview and expressed: “I don’t understand how the photo came about either. I believe it had been photoshopped by someone. As for becoming a hot topic on the gay website, it’s not a problem. This is a society with freedom of speech. Actually it be more interesting if King Kong didn’t have a sex organ, Hong Kong people are too conservative!” Producer Tommy Leung stressed even in the DVD version, there is no completely nude scene.

Moses Chan – Behind the Title

Moses Chan (Ah Mo) is the ‘Golden Seun Poon’ (best deal) in the hearts of millions of HK girls and a TV King candidate that television can’t lose. In the industry, he is also known Mr. Good…towards the many titles the public has for him, Ah Mo embarassingly smiled and said: “Thanks, Thanks!” This perfect actor in the public eye stresses that whether if its he’s a best deal or TV King, what he’s been doing all along is just trying to reach to the peak of television. The bottom line is, he is just one foolish Ah Mo. We counted with Ah Mo of how many titles he has, he laughed loudly and said: “I really don’t have much feeling towards all these titles. Is it because someone says you are this, then that’s what you are? I am the same as before, someone who loves to eat and drink, a silly Ah Mo.” Of course, all his titles are compliments and positive, a kind regard from Fans, Ah Mo rogered all that. He is grateful, but he does not dare to accept the honor. Indeed! There is no perfect person in this world. Forcing yourself to live under the expectations of others, wouldn’t that mean you have lost yourself? The true Ah Mo is behind the titles.
From “Failure on the Big Screen” to “TV King on the Giant Station”
Ten years have gone by, watching many of his colleagues leaving HK television giant TVB, while standing at the peak of the television industry, Ah Mo asks himself: “What’s next?” Even though he already has an answer in his heart, he does not dare to think of instant success. From hitting rock bottom in the film scene until what he is today, Ah Mo knows better than anyone else the truth of ‘conventional’ fame.
Ah Mo: “Watching my colleagues leaving one at a time, I have also asked myself, ‘How should I proceed next?’ But you have to plan for the future and have to see what choices you have in front of you. So far, I don’t see a better path I could take. (Head up North to shoot series?) Honestly since I’ve entered TVB, I have never filmed a series outside of the company. Even if the ‘Chinese Yuan’ can be easily earned, but it has never been the first factor that I put into consideration. After all I’m not young, I hope to let audience see my future works that has inner quality and creativity, so I don’t rule out the chances that I may make a comeback on the big screen. I currently have to wait for a good time. As for my career, I have always taken it step by step. When you experience a situation where you have nothing to do, then you will start to cherish every meal you have today. Back then, after I participated in the film Twenty Something (1994), I went from being the lead actor to a supporting actor and even to a big ‘ke lei feh’ (extra). I was waiting daily for someone to give me a job. I couldn’t see my future at all. When I joined TVB, it was the last step I took in my acting career. If this step wasn’t stable, it would be game over for me. So, I put my greatest effort in doing my best. All those setbacks I had in the past, allowed me to learn how to take my every step and that I must maturely reflect on every one.
From “Player of the Century” to “Golden Seun Poon”
A few years ago, Ah Mo was back on the market, and instantly became known as the ‘Golden Seun Poon’ (Golden Best Deal). Today, despite the fact that he’s already taken (Aimee Chan), he still sees a woman, loves a woman. But, does anyone know before he became the famous ‘Golden Best Deal’, he was actually the ‘Player of the Century’? Ah Mo did not deny that there was a period of time he smoked, drank, partied hard and often got a new girlfriend… so how did this ‘Golden Best Deal’ label start?
Ah Mo: “Haha, people labeled me as the ‘Golden Best Deal’, of course I’m not. Everyone has seen too much of Ah Mo acting on TV, and have imagined me as the perfect man. In fact, my thoughts are very traditional. I believe the definition of ‘Best Deal’ is a man that must be responsible, be able to give his partner a reliable shoulder, really protect and love her. A ‘Best Deal’ must be able to occasionally be romantic and give surprises. However, in all honestly, I have never qualified for any of these conditions. I’m still in the learning process. As for how I went from a ‘player’ to the ‘best deal’ that everyone knows? I think, in life there are different insights during different periods. I remember there was one night long ago, when I was under the spotlight at the disco, the people around me were madly dancing, but I didn’t move at all. That moment, my feelings told me: ‘This place doesn’t belong to me.’ And since then, I left the disco and said goodbye to that frivolous age.

From “Foolish Boy” to “Mr. Good”

Showbiz is a place of competition and jealousy. People in this industry are surrounded by nonstop gossips and rumors, but Ah Mo has a protective charm on him that keeps him away from ‘bad terms’ rumors. As a Mr. Good in the public eye, Ah Mo laughed and said he’s just one “foolish man”.
Ah Mo: I am a natural born Yes Man. I am friendly with people and don’t know how to fight back. I have never been in a fight with anyone in my life. In the past, I was really resistant when people said “foolish people have foolish happiness”, but I have now realized that this is in fact a kind of happiness.
Although people with this personality are often taken for granted, but when you are not afraid of disadvantage and willing to help others, then there will be an unexpected payback. After being in the television industry for so many years, there is indeed not many things that can upset me. I like creativity and I will provide suggestions to producers. Sometimes when my suggestions aren’t accepted because of several factors, I would just let out a long sigh. To survive in showbiz, you must learn this principle: When someone wants your help, your advice will be helpful; When someone doesn’t want your help, your advice is troublesome.
So, even if I do feel helpless, I still think artists should do their part first. There is no need to insist on things that cannot be controlled.

From “Coffee Prince” to “Captain of Dreams”

Aside from his love to enjoy coffee, Ah Mo loves to enjoy life. In his brain, he doesn’t just store his acting skills, but also the dreams that people in the city lack.
Ah Mo: “If life is just about running around to make a living, then we are just left with meaningless. So, each individual must have a dream. I grew up in Australia and I believe treasuring life is far more important than making money,. To me, my acting career is definitely not everything in my life because I have too many dreams. For example, in the future I hope to own my very own furniture store, restaurant, village, coffee garden, farm … sounds pretty crazy, but it is not impossible. As for if my dreams can come true, that will have to depend timing. Of course, I won’t give up everything just for my dreams. Again, everything must be taken step by step.”
